Welcome to the World’s Biggest Graduation Celebration hosted by Communities In Schools!

We are celebrating the Class of 2014 (#ClassofChange) with three online events:

  • World’s BIggest Graduation Processional: Graduating seniors, along with their teachers, friends and family, are invited to share graduation day photos, videos and messages on Twitter, Instagram, YouTube and Vine, using the hashtag #ClassOfChange. Grads and others can also share pics and messages on Facebook by posting directly to facebook.com/communitiesinschools with #ClassOfChange. These #ClassOfChange posts will be aggregated in a gallery for viewing at communitiesinschools.org/classofchange.
  • National Yearbook: Students can also post on the National Yearbook at classofchange.tumblr.com. Just tag tweets, pics and videos with #ClassOfChange and they will be automatically posted to this yearbook.
  • Graduation Card: Everyone is encouraged to post a message to the National Graduation Card at facebook.com/communitiesinschools.

The social effort, continuing through June, will tell a powerful and moving story of how students, families, schools and communities are helping change the picture of education in America.

The “World’s Biggest Graduation Celebration” is part of Communities In Schools’ Change the Picture national branding campaign. Launched in April, the campaign shares stories of kids who are succeeding in school despite challenging obstacles and provides concrete data on the results and effectiveness of the CIS network, which successfully serves 1.3 million students nationwide each year.
