Every student’s story can change when someone shows up. Across Washington, students facing both visible and unseen challenges received consistent support this year. From meeting basic needs to building trusted relationships with caring adults, these efforts helped students reconnect with school and their sense of belonging. Students receiving intensive, relationship-based support improved attendance and reengaged in their learning, with many getting back on track to graduate.
This is the impact of Communities In Schools of Washington. Barriers are removed. Confidence is rebuilt. Pathways to opportunity are created. Powered by dedicated staff, volunteers, donors, and school partners, this work ensures that behind every number is a student whose future looks different because someone showed up.
