At Clover Park School District, CIS of Lakewood facilitated a summer program where students developed leadership skills to bring about community change. Called “Warriors of Change,” this 6-week program placed high school students into teams to collaborate on an area of change they wanted to see in their community. Students participated in a variety of indoor and outdoor activities, building collaboration and communication skills.

At the end of the program, students presented their ideas for change to a panel of judges. They will continue to work throughout the 21-22 school year to bring their projects to life and make an impact for the Lakewood community. What a powerful way to spend the summer!
