As the Program Director for the state office, Phil provides programmatic guidance, training/technical assistance and data management to support delivery of the CIS model of Integrated Student Supports. His background is rooted in education and community services, and he maintains a commitment to social justice, promoting diversity and inclusion for all students.
“I’m involved with CIS because I have a commitment to personal and professional growth to support diversity, equity and inclusion, and I have a passion to make a difference in the lives of others,” says Phil.
Born and raised in the Key Peninsula, Phil lives in Tacoma today. In his spare time, he can be found snow skiing in the winter and kayaking in the summer.
