Nicholas has held a number of roles leading risk and security strategy to protect data, and prior to that worked on cybersecurity strategy and policy in the Obama Administration at DHS.
“My parents were refugees and growing up I was in and around many different communities that didn’t have access to basic essentials that many of us would take for granted. I also felt the impact of how student-centered services could make a difference because I benefited from similar programs in Kent. The future can be great only if every kid has a real chance to realize their own potential,” Muy says.
Nicholas grew up in Seattle and Kent, and currently still lives there. When he is not at work or serving the CIS community, he can be found snowboarding, building/tinkering with technology, running road races, cooking and traveling or doing nothing at the beach.
