Jeannie has spent her career working in various roles for nonprofits supporting children and youth, including public policy and legislative advocacy, grant writing and donor cultivation, and advocating for the educational needs of students in the foster care and juvenile justice systems.
She is passionate about transforming systems to better meet the needs of children and youth and believes deeply in harnessing the power of local communities to achieve the CIS mission to surround students with a community of support.
Born and raised in West Hartford, CT, Jeannie lives in Tacoma today. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time outdoors, taking adventures with her family and volunteering in her local community.
