Prior to his work at Wieden+Kennedy, Jason worked in HR for Lumen, Brookdale Senior Living, Starbucks and Kaiser Permanente Washington.
Education has always been an important part of Jason’s life. Growing up, his parents emphasized the importance of learning and it has always been a priority in his life. His mother was an educator and tireless advocate for her students who believed in serving her community.
“From a young age, it was instilled in us that education creates pathways to opportunity. I have been blessed with many opportunities in my career and life, and I have always had the support of my incredible network of family, friends and mentors. Their support was a vital part of my educational journey and success in life. When I lost my mother a few years ago, I decided to honor her memory by joining the CISWA State Board and embracing this unique opportunity to “pay it forward” by advocating for and supporting others as they pursue their educational and life goals,” Jason says.
Jason grew up in Spanaway, Washington, and now lives in Seattle. In his spare time, Jason can be found spending time with his 12 nieces and nephews. He also enjoys traveling, wine, hanging out at the beach and watching any and all sports.
“Go Dawgs! Primarily the Georgia Bulldogs, but I also have love for UW and Gonzaga,” Jason says.
