Erin grew up in Yakima and resides in North Bend today. She has been a non-profit professional in Washington state for nearly three decades, and her professional engagement has been in education and mentorship organizations. As a passionate advocate for all youth, Erin is driven by a vision for young people in K-12 education to reach their full potential. She is a strategic leader who thrives in working with community stakeholders (educators, elected officials, parents, Board of Directors, staff, donors, volunteers, etc.). In her role as State Director, Erin is motivated to inspire a team of professionals to deliver positive results that impact student lives and their academic outcomes.
Erin describes herself as “an outdoor gal at heart.” When she’s not advancing the CIS mission, she loves hiking, horseback riding, biking, tennis and skiing in the winter with family and friends.
