Erica has spent her career working in various leadership roles across the service industry and over the past five years leading programs providing services to youth and young adults experiencing homelessness throughout King County. Erica serves on the Washington State Board for the Office of Homeless Youth (OHY) and works closely with providers throughout the state to support advocacy efforts.
Erica is passionate about dismantling systems of oppression and providing opportunities for young people to see themselves represented in the services being provided to them and has led efforts of program re-design and implementation, expanding access for undocumented young people, and integrating healing centered engagement opportunities for youth and young adults. Erica is excited to continue these efforts within the CIS state office and working closely with affiliate networks.
Erica was born and raised in Pomona, CA and is now a resident of Tacoma. She graduated from Utah State University with her undergraduate degree and is currently working on her Masters in Business Administration degree.
