- This event has passed.
It’s new! It’s exciting! It’s all online!
Although we’ll miss seeing you in person, we can still go #AllinforKids together. Will you join us?
Announcement
After much consideration, and following the recent cases of Coronavirus in the Seattle area, we have made the difficult decision to cancel our annual Mardi Gras dinner and auction, scheduled for March 14.
Although we count on this event as our largest source of individual donations, we have decided to cancel this gathering to prioritize the wellbeing of guests and our community. Our Mardi Gras event has become a treasured tradition, and we will miss the opportunity to connect with you in person! See below for ways in which you can continue to support our mission to surround students with a community of support, empowering them to stay in school and achieve in life.

Why Give?
CIS really helped me through my rough times in school. I was always motivated, given positive reinforcement and hope and belief I could accomplish my dreams no matter how big or small.
Sharon, Alum of CIS of Benton-Franklin
We know that you believe in the CIS mission just as much as us, and because of this, we are asking for your continued partnership as we come together for a virtual auction. We believe in the power of our network and that, together, we can raise the resources needed to support the efforts of our CIS affiliate network, who work tirelessly to keep kids in school.
Our Network
Our mission is to surround students with a community of support, empowering them to stay in school and achieve in life.
Our 11 affiliates work directly in schools with students who carry adult-sized burdens into the classroom and who face individual and systemic barriers to academic success, such as bullying, homelessness, hunger, language access, poverty, systemic racism, or a need for a caring adult in their life. At the core of our mission, we believe that every student has unique gifts to offer the world, and that when they have the support of a community that cares, they can do anything. And we are seeing that success with the students served by our network.
Receiving this help has inspired me to want to help others in the future when I am able.
Manny, Alum of CIS of Renton-Tukwila
Because of Your Support
In 10 years, we’ve grown from serving 41,000 students to over 90,000 served last year! Our network has also expanded from working in 14 School Districts in 2008 to working in 27 districts this last school year.

We are here so we can continue to celebrate student success stories, support our network through state office programs, and continue to meet students where they are. Please consider donating—your dollars help build a strong affiliate network in Washington State and make it possible to provide the highest level of service to the most students possible.
