AmeriCorps VISTA position available to help increase the capacity and sustainability of the CIS model in Washington state to help youth at risk of dropping out stay in school and prepare for life.

CIS of Peninsula - The CIS of Peninsula VISTA will develop and implement systems for fund development and volunteer recruitment and management in order to expand programs and services to students and families in Gig Harbor/Key Peninsula. The member will work with the CISP Board of Directors and Executive Director on developing resources, strategies and tools to support new annual giving campaign and implementation of the resource development plan. Member will also plan and implement volunteer recruitment strategies to increase and diversify mentoring volunteers. This also includes developing and coordinating strategies to increase communication and connection with volunteers.
